Evelyn J. Peters a resident of Tulsa, Ok passed away on August 14, 2005 inTulsa, Ok at the age of 58.

Born August 1, 1947 in Hitchita, Ok to Albert and Naomi (Parker) Miller. She has worked at the Ford Glass Plant in Tulsa for over 20 years before retiring. She was a member of the United Auto Workers and a volunteer for the Special Olympics.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters: Bobbie Stafford and Juanita Miller

Survived by 2 Sons: Albert Peters and wife Mandy of Henryetta,Michael Peters of Tulsa,5 Grandchildren: Michael Peters II, Joshua Peters, Marissa Peters, Tiffany Peters and Aleah Peters, Sister: Sharon Peters of Tulsa, Nephew: Perry Stafford and wife Cindy of Sand Springs, OK, Great Niece: Mackenzie Stafford,2 Nieces: Shanna Knowles and husband Michael of Broken Arrow, Susan Miller of Tulsa, Brother in law: Perry Stafford of Tulsa

Services will be 2:00pm. Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at the Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Potter officiating and Rev. Jack Vance, assisting.

Interment will follow at the Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita, OK under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
