Martin Odom was born Jan. 12, 1906 in Corona, CA to William L. and Ruth (Cleveland) Odom and died March 27, 2001 in Tulsa.

Graveside services were held March 30, 2001, at the Lackey Cemetery at Hitchita with burial under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Checotah.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma of 49 years, in 1981 and his second wife, Gertrude in 1995.

Survivors include a son, Joel Odom of Tulsa; a daughter, Joan Long of Missouri; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
