Orentha Faye Hudson, 68, passed away peacefully in her home on July 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on July 18, 1957, in Oklahoma City to Carl and Helen Mouser, Orentha was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Helen, and her beloved sisters, Connie Mouser and Robin Deardorff.

Orentha built a long and respected career as an Engineering Technician at Tinker Air Force Base, where her dedication and work ethic were admired by all who worked with her. But she was a crafter at heart—whether creating something beautiful by hand or welcoming someone into Hudson Place, the store she loved so dearly, Orentha brought warmth and kindness to everyone she met. She never met a stranger and made everyone feel like family.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Hudson, of the home. She leaves behind her daughter Jamie and husband Todd Logan of Newalla, OK; her son Shawn Grayson and wife Stacie of Meeker, OK; and her son Matt Fox and wife Vicki of McLoud, OK. Orentha was a proud and loving grandmother to Braden Logan and wife Katie of Pink, OK, along with their children Hudson and Stevie; Kailyn Logan and fiancé Colin Cislo of Edmond, OK; JJ Wolfe; Jenny and Andrew Grayson; and Kaleb and Braxton Fox. She is also survived by her sister Jan Culwell and husband Robert Culwell of Meeker, OK, and her brother Carl Mouser and wife Kathy Mouser of Boley, OK. In addition, she leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. Of all the titles she held in life, “Granny” was her favorite.

Orentha’s legacy is one of deep love, creativity, and generosity. Her laughter, her stories, and her nurturing spirit will be missed dearly but remembered always by all who knew her.

A funeral will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the funeral home and interment will follow in the Hanna Cemetery in Hanna, Oklahoma.
