Edith Mae (Gilliland) Roberts, 87, of Lindsay, Oklahoma, was born September 25, 1935, in Mountain Township, Missouri to Redmond and Lallie Gilliland. She left her earthly body on July 10, 2023 at her home.
 

Edith married the love of her life Esley Roberts on December 3, 1954 in Skamania County, Washington. Together they shared four children Gregory Roberts, Lila Rooks, Wanda Neely, and Bert Roberts II. Edith was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her children. In her life, she was a LPN and loved helping everyone she came in contact with through her profession. Some of her greatest enjoyments were reading, sewing, and her grandkids.
 

Edith is preceded in death by her parents Redmond and Lallie Gilliland, husband Esley Roberts, son Gregory Roberts, daughter Wanda Neely, granddaughter Nancy Jo Irene Roberts, and great grandson Tate Casey Gurney.


Edith is survived by son Bert Roberts II, daughter Lila Rooks, grandchildren; Bert Roberts III, Kimberly Little, Breanna Deason (Michael), Meghan Gurney (Tyson), Tess Roberts-Johnston, Gregory Roberts, Sherry Gomez (Charles), Shelby Johnston, Lauren Holland (Chance), Lila Neely, Timmy Neely, and Nick Stevenson. Great grandchildren; Kaylee Wilson, Tyler Meyer, Tanner Bills, Colt Little, Madison Deason, Abby Deason, Parker Deason, Tucker Deason, Paisley Deason, Maddax Deason, Saylor Deason, Kamdyn Pool, Landon Pool, Cash Pool, Gracie Roberts, Kash-Lee Townsend, Zoey Gomez, Presleigh Gomez, Lila Gomez, Collins Gomez, Gavyn Winn, Myleigh Comer, Brystol Ford, Alyssa Strong, and Betsy Strong; along with several other family and friends.


A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
