Gloria Griffis Rhea age 90, of Eufaula, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 in Norman, OK. She was born April 11, 1926 in Bentonville, VA. Her parents were Randell K. Brown and Helen May (Griffith) Brown. Gloria lived in Eufaula for 53 years and owned and operated several supper clubs. She was a member of the Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church in Eufaula. She was a fabulous cook and artist. She enjoyed painting, gardening and she liked working crossword puzzles.

She is preceded in death by: Parents: Randall and Helen Brown; Her two husbands, Jack Griffis and James (Jim) Rhea

Gloria leaves behind: Four children: Son, John Griffis and wife Sondra of Wister, OK, Son, David N. Griffis of Norman, OK, Son, Russell D. Griffis of Norman, OK, Daughter, Kelly L. Smith and husband Wesley of Eufaula, OK; One Sister, Rebecca Keller of Glenrose, TX; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church, Eufaula, OK. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eufaula, OK

Family will greet relatives and friends Friday, October 21,2016 from 6pm-8pm at the Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lindsey Chapel Baptist Youth.
