Sarah Lee Dennis entered eternal life on Sunday, October 12, 2008 in Eufaula, Oklahoma.

Sarah was born on Saturday, March 13, 1948 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to James and Donna Maston. She grew up in West Virginia, graduating from St. Mary's High School in 1966. Sarah made a profession of faith as a young girl. Sarah later attended Beauty College in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She met, fell in love and married Bill Dennis on January 15, 1969 in Pennsylvania. They have 3 beautiful children. Sarah owned and operated Sara Lee's Beauty Shop before moving to Okay, OK. where she worked in Okay Schools as an Indian Coordinator and also opened Sara Lee's Beauty Shop in Okay, OK. She later went to work for Oklahoma Rig and Supply where she worked in the office. In 1983 she and her husband moved to Choctaw, Ok. where she began working as the church secretary for the Sooner Baptist Church in Midwest City. She earned many outstanding awards for selling Mary Kay Cosmetics. In 1987 she attended McCrone Institute graduating in Asbestos Identification. They moved to Checotah in 2002. They are members of the Lindsay Chapel Baptist Church of Checotah. Sarah loved to make cakes, crotchet and ceramics. She was crazy about her grandchildren, making all of them, baby blankets.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Davis Maston and her grandparents.

Sarah is survived by her husband, Bill of the home; Daughters, Crystal Traylor and husband Lonnie Traylor Jr. of Checotah, Trena Watkins and husband Brian of Ok. City, Ok., and Son, Chad Dennis and wife Mary of Shawnee, Ok.; Grandchildren, Taylor, Shaquille, Dequan, Shaiquece, Amari, Destiny, Caleb, Sydney, Conner and Trey; Her Father, James W. Maston; A Sister, Sandra Noland and husband Richard and a Brother, Russell Maston and wife Susie all of St. Mary's, West Virginia; A Brother Ralph Maston and wife Linda of Florence, Kentucky, and many neices, nephews and other extended family and a host of friends.

The family will greet friends from 6PM to 8PM Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Garrett Family Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 16, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Checotah with Reverend Tim Turner, Reverend Steve Dennis and Reverend Eric Dennis officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery with Don Gilleland, Brian Watkins, Chad Dennis, Lonnie Traylor Jr., Wesley Coats and Scott Dennis serving as casket bearers.
