Graveside services for Madie Estelle Locke will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Valliant Cemetery in Valliant, OK with Joe Knox officiating. Madie passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 85.
 
Madie was born December 1, 1928, in Valliant, Oklahoma, to Joe Prince and Cora (Slaton) Prince. She married Jess Locke in Iowa City, Iowa on May 14, 1948. She worked alongside her husband selling cars in Galesburg, IL for over 30 years. They traveled all over the world; she was an artist and loved to paint. She was fondly known in €œIL€ as the Coca Cola lady, she would share a coke with anyone who came by, was very hospitable, and loved to talk.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Jess €œTom€ Locke of Hugo, OK; parents, Joe and Cora Prince; three sisters, Modena Prince who was a little child, Mary Phynetta Blackard of Anchorage, Alaska, Marie Calfee of Bullhead, AZ; brother & sister-in-law, Joseph & Ozella Prince of Idabel, OK.

Madie is survived by Carolyn Whelchel and husband Charles of Paris, TX, Glenda Cobb and husband Bill of Duncan, OK, Thomas Prince and wife Cheryl of Edmond, OK, Dan Blackard and wife Brenda of Valliant, OK, Dena Knox and husband Joe of Denton, TX; as well as many other relatives and friends.
