Interment to follow at Glover Cemetery in Glover, Oklahoma.

Beatrice Louise Danner Rankins is at home in heaven departing this world on Tuesday September 17, 2019 at age 81.

She was born near Little Rock, AR on Feb. 13, 1938 to Stella Myrtle Carol Danner and Christopher Columbus Danner. She had four sisters and two brothers. Her dad was a migrant worker and they lived in many places in Arkansas, Texas and Oklahoma. She married Ellis Wilbourn “Blondie” Rankins on May 11, 1956. They lived in Grand Prarie, TX for a short while. They raised eight children in Oklahoma City, Wright City, Broken Bow, Eagle Town and Tuttle, OK. She later moved to the Tishomingo, OK area to be close to several of her children, 18 grandkids and 20 greatgrandkids. As a career mom, she spent hours cooking, cleaning and caring for the house and kids. Scratch biscuits, red beans and fried potatoes were almost always on the menu. Regardless of how good her cooking was, she always managed to dirty every pot and pan in the kitchen! She loved to be with her family, either a few or dozens and even in a hospital recovering from surgery! Louise never turned any of us away, many if her family stayed with her for days, weeks or months. She lived with her daughter Ivy and her kids for months helping her get on her feet. She loved Solitaire and puzzles on a computer and she was the Parcheesi Queen! Sewing, crochet, quilts, flowers and gardening were her passions. Louise never had a drivers license! Louise loved to watch Mattlock and old westerns, Rawhide, Bonanza and Gun Smoke! Louise loved the Lord and studied the bible and prayed for her kin folks her whole life. Gabriel Johnson spent the summer after he graduated high school caring for his Grandma Rankins. Her dying wish was to eat chocolate cake on her last day as she was allergic to the caffeine! When asked what hymns she wanted sung at her Celebration of Life, she quickly replied “It doesn’t matter, I won’t be there to sing them!”
