Olivia Jean Ingram

Jean Ingram, age 64 of Washington, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the Norman Regional Hospital. Olivia Jean Allison was born May 1, 1948 in Duncan, OK, the youngest of 2 children born to Herbert Moreno Allison and Juanice (Williams) Allison.
She was raised in Duncan and attended Duncan Schools, graduating in 1966. She then attended East Central State College, where she earned a Bachelors of Education. While in school, she met a young man named James Edward Ingram. They fell in love and were married on August 13, 1969 in Ada. Together they raised 2 children; son, Mark and daughter, Donna. They made their home in Duncan where Jean began her teaching career. They later settled in the Washington area where Jean worked in the Washington Elementary School for nearly 30 years. She devoted her life to teaching others, and left a great impact on the lives of many students. She was a wonderful wife and mother, grandmother, sister and a good friend. She cherished her family; her greatest joy was her grandchildren. Jean loved the Lord Jesus and served faithfully in many capacities at the Life Tabernacle Church UPC in Mustang.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Herbert & Juanice Allison;

Jean leaves behind: Her husband, James, of the home; Her son, Mark Ingram & wife Tara of Washington; Her daughter, Donna Wood & husband Brandon of Konawa; Her brother, David Allison & wife Penny of OKC; 6 grandchildren, Adam, Megan, Lane, Kyle, Levi & Logan, and Many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Washington. Burial will follow at the Washington Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson-Little of Purcell
