Peggy Graham age 69 of Washington passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 17, 2015. She was born on May 8, 1946 in Gowen, Oklahoma. Peggy was the 4th child of 12 children born to Robert Brooks and Ola Mae (Holson) Brooks. Peggy grew up near and attended school in Red Oak, Oklahoma. After high school she moved to OKC and found work at Unit Parts Company. While working there she met the love of her life, Paul Graham. They were later married on October 30, 1970 in Lexington. Together they raised two children, Ella and David. Peggy and her family first made their home in Moore, OK and lived there before moving to Washington in 1984. While living in Washington she worked as the City Clerk for the City of Washington until she retired in 2008. Throughout her life, Peggy enjoyed being in the outdoors working in her flower gardens and vegetable gardens. She loved wildlife especially feeding her birds. She also enjoyed shopping for antiques, working with crafts, sewing and crocheting. Most of all, Peggy loved her family and had a special bond with her sisters. For many years, once a month they would get-together on a sister’s weekend. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by: Parents, Robert and Ola Mae Brooks; Three sisters, Lula Curtios, Paula Brooks and Ruth Duckett; Two brothers, Bobby Brooks and Tony Brooks;

She is survived by: Husband, Paul Graham of the home, Children, Ella Mattingly of Moore, David Graham and wife Laura of Washington, 6 grandchildren, Kim Fox and husband Geremy, Kristy Graham, Mark Graham, Isaac Holloway, Haley Vore and Sara Mattingly; 3 great grandchildren, Aiden, Karlie and Kylie; 5 Sisters, Betty Lupper and husband Kenneth of Blanchard, Carol Sausberry and husband Ted of Prague, Shirley Bullard and husband Harold of Fort Smith, AR, Debbie Hays and husband Pat of Stroud, Jackie McCracken of Stroud, One brother, Lonnie Brooks and wife Jolene of Poteau; Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Interment will be at Washington Cemetery.
