Harley K Bromley, age 83 of Washington, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, at OU Medical Center.
Harley was born March 17, 1939 in Hobart, OK, the only child of Horace K Bromley and Rosa Belle (Johnston) Bromley.
He was raised in Okla. City and attended school there, graduating from Central High School in 1957.
Harley married his best friend and life partner, Beulah Ellen Brooks on April 10, 1959 in Okla. City. They first made their home in Newalla, and later Del City, before settling in Washington in 1981. Together they raised four children, sons Porter and Foster and daughters, Nancy and Rosa Belle.
Harley worked at Tinker Air Force Base for nearly 20 years before taking a job at the University of Oklahoma Commissary, retiring after more than 20 years of dedicated service. Away from work, Harley stayed busy with Toastmasters and TOPS Social clubs. He enjoyed time at the Washington Senior Center and playing on his phone or computer. He cherished Beulah, his children and was a proud grandfather and great grandfather. Harley was a man of great faith, and longtime member of the Jackson and Green Church of Christ. He will be dearly missed!
He was preceded in death by: granddaughter, McKayla Trammell; his parents, Horace and Rosa Belle Bromley and ½ siblings, Marie and Kelly.
Harley is survived by: wife Beulah Bromley of the home, daughters, Nancy Trammell and husband Joshua Lane of Del City and Rosa Belle Wright and husband Robin of Norman; sons, Porter Bromley of Bridge Creek and Foster Bromley and wife PJ of Elko, NV; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Little's Chapel, Wilson-Little. Burial will follow at the Washington Cemetery.
