Jimmy Ray Andrews, age 62 of Washington, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013.

Jimmy was born January 29, 1951, in Washington, OK, 1 of 10 children born to Jasper Daniel Andrews and Elsie Victoria (Madden) Andrews.

He was raised in Washington and attended Washington Schools, graduating in 1969.

Jimmy married his true love, a young lady named Carla Faye Stokes. They made their home in Washington where together they raised a daughter, Julie and a son, Derek.

Jimmy stayed active following his kids in the various activities and sporting events. He was an avid supporter and active member of the Washington Ag Boosters Club. He was a hard worker and a good provider. For many years, he worked for the City of Norman as a heavy equipment operator. He loved life on the farm and took great delight in his only grandson, Beau Gunner. For the past several years, he has attended the Goldsby Baptist Church. Jimmy was a wonderful husband and father; grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed!

He was preceded in death by: His parents; Jasper and Elsie Andrews; Brothers, Junior Andrews and Luke Andrews and Sisters, Audrey Nelson, Norma Blair and Lois Cox.

Jimmy leaves behind: His wife, Carla, of the home; His daughter, Julie Hoisington and husband Dustin of Norman, and their son, Beau Gunner Hoisington; His son, Derek Andrews of Washington; Sisters, Mary Dover and husband Joe of Purcell and Carolyn Cheek and Danny Blubaugh; Brothers, Lem Andrews and Mary Walker of Purcell and Billy Andrews and wife Becky of Goldsby; His "inherited" daughter, Amy Harryman and her husband James and their children, Brooke and Blaine; Brother in law, Floyd Cox of Noble, and many other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the Goldsby Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Washington Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson-Little of Purcell. Online condolences at wilsonlittle.com.
