Doris Unger was born November 24, 1925 to Bud and Myrtle Kirkland at Rosedale, Oklahoma.

She passed away September 26, 2004 in Purcell, Ok with her family by her side.

Doris lived in Purcell for the past 11 years after moving from Rosedale. She grew up on the Kirkland farm and attended school at Rosedale.

Doris married Lee Unger on 17 May 1986.

Doris worked for Globe Life Insurance for more than thrity years and retired in 1986. She was a member of the Life Underwriters Assoc., and was of the Presbyterian faith.

She and her husband Lee enjoyed traveling and serching for antiques to restore and sell. During this time they established many friendships that continue to this day. She also enjoyed decorating and gardening.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Helen Miller and Grace Hill and her brother, Don Kirkland.

She is survived by her husband Lee, daughters, Karen Lee and husband John and their son Brian of Dublin, Ohio, daughter Diane Jasinski and husband Lenny and their sons Matt and Mark of Dripping Springs, TX. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly.

Services were held at 10am Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at Wadley's Funeral Chapel with Rev Russell Newvill offaciating. Honorary bears were Lenny Jasinski, Mark Jasinski, Matt Jasinski, John Lee, and Brian Lee.

Internment was at Rosedale Cemetery, Rosedale, OK directed by Wadley's Funeral Service, Purcell, OK.

Leland Wayne Unger died August 25, 2014 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years 3 months 20 days. Memorial Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 8, 2014 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. A second memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 PM, Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the riverside home of Steve and Kathy Randall near Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Interment at Rosedale Cemetery in Rosedale, Oklahoma under the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Leland was born May 5, 1925 in Choctaw, Oklahoma to Charles and Edna (Leonard) Unger. He was in the Choctaw/Luther area. He graduated from Luther Schools around 1943. Leland was inducted into the United States Navy in 1943, serving for a few years before being honorably discharged in 1945. He continued his education, earning his associates degree in Mechanical engineering. Leland worked many years in the insurance industry, before his retirement.

Leland is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edna Unger; 2 wives, Minnie and Doris Unger; his son, Charles Unger; and his sister.

Survivors include his daughter, Kathy Randall and husband, Steve; daughter-in-law, Cindy Unger; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends
