Sandra Ruth Covington, also known by many who loved her as Cookie, Saundra, and Sandi, joined her amazing heavenly family and Savior on the 31st of December 2019.

Sandi was born in a Poteet, Atascosa County, Texas on July 3rd, 1946 to Marvin Chester Hacker and Ruth Crawford Hacker.

She grew up in Elk City, went to Cheyenne schools until her junior year, but graduated from Sayre High School in Sayre, Oklahoma. Where she met her first husband, John Hill. Sandi and John were married April 23, 1965 in Kansas City, Missouri. Together they had three daughters and Sandi was a Navy wife during the Vietnam war. She loved life, her children, working for fortune 500 companies during the 1970's through to the 1990's such as Widger Chemical Corp. out of Warren, MI. Sandi loved traveling, her precious pets, family get togethers, and visiting her mother.

We mourn the loss of a beloved mother, sister, wife, grandmother, cousin, and aunt. We loved her dearly. She was a fun free spirit with a joyous, contagious laugh, and eyes that smiled kindly at everyone. Sandi was soft spoken, and cheerful. She was always glamorous and done up beautifully. After retiring she moved to Pauls Valley, Ok. She met and married Tommy Covington in 1999. They lived together until Sandi needed more care in the nursing home next to her home, which her husband would see her. Sandi and John Hill had three daughters, Tamara Collinsworth of Edmond, OK., Cheri Hill Harrington of Norman, Ok. and Denise Sommerfeld of Charlotte, NC.

Sandi loved her grandchildren very dearly, Johnnie Gann of OKC, OK., ..Candis Golden of Denver, Co., Marcus White of OKC, OK., Crystal Colilbri of Dallas, Tx, Lindsey Harrington of Ark., Tawney Harrington of OKC, OK., Daniel Harrington of Edmond, OK., David Harrington of Edmond, Ok., Mindy Wimberly of Noble, Ok., Jeramy Joyner of Norman, OK.
