Everett Miller Killed

J.P. Walker, who was in from Maxwell today, stated that the News was misinformed about the identity of the young man who was killed by lightning Wednesday night near Summers Chapel. It was not one of the Summers family, but Everett Miller, a young man of about 20 years. It occurred about 11 o'clock. The young man had stopped at the home of Ben Hendrex for shelter from the rain and was in the act of mounting his horse to state home when the bolt struck, killing him and the horse instantly. He is survived by his mother, who is a widow. Ada News
