Thomas Daniel Hilburn of Byars, Oklahoma was born April 24, 1936 in Christine, Texas to Pete/Peter Levi Hilburn and Cordelia (Jenkins) Hilburn. He passed away in Oklahoma City on June 29, 2018 at the age of 82 years 2 months and 5 days. He grew up in southern Texas, the Poteet and San Antonio areas. Left school after the 7th grade to work and help support the family. He worked at local farms and horse ranches. He was good at roping calves and cows. Worked for $3 a day. Spent most of his adult life working as maintenance. General Tire and Rubber Company in California for 10 years and JP Emco for 5, retired in 1986. Owned a gas station in Norco, California and a small convenience store in Johnsonville. Loved Country music, women's college softball, visiting with his friends and relatives and cherished his daughters, grandchildren and family. Met and married mother of his three children in San Antonio, Texas on January 5, 1957.

Preceded by: his parents, Peter and Cordelia Hilburn, brothers John Conley “JC” Hilburn, Herman and Sherman Hilburn. Sisters, Hazel George, Barbara Burton and Lillian Moon. Daughter, Deanna Cummins; grandsons: Travis Williams and Shane Dial.

Survived by: daughters, Debbie Hilburn of California; Doretta Williams & husband Randy of Oklahoma. Grandchildren, Weston & Nicole Sterling of Oklahoma, Leslie & Johnny Montez of California, Tomi & James Guevara, Tonya & Toby Dial, Jason & Shelly Cummins, Mark & Brittany Cummins, Jacob & Laura Cummins, and Ben Cummins, all of Oklahoma. Brothers; Robert Hilburn of Texas, Dale & wife Alisha Hilburn of Missouri and Richard and wife Darlene Hilburn of Texas. Twenty-three great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services; 10:00 AM Friday July 6, 2018. Officiating; Rev. Randy Williams. It will be in the Pentecostal Holiness church in Byars, Oklahoma. Burial New Johnsonville cemetery. DeArman Funeral Home
