Francis "Granny" Maruska

Francis "Granny" Maruska, 88, died July 5, 2006.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 8, at the Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City. The Rev. Lewis Cox officiated. Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard, made the arrangements.

Maruska was born September 14, 1917, in Pendell, Ark., to Agnes Ruby (Gregory) and John Franklin Wallace.

Francis attended school in Arkansas and moved to Blanchard in 1962 from Oklahoma City. She worked for Nancy's Café in Dibble for several years and enjoyed crafting and cooking.

Survivors include her son, Charles Maruska of Spencer; grandchildren, Tiffany Rossi of Cleburne, Texas, Tia Maruska of Mansfield, Texas, Tiffany Oxford of Ada, Danielle Oxford of Chickasha; great grandchildren, Cameron Rossi and Kaliey Rossi; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward, a brother and a sister.
