Funeral service for Raymond Wayne Corley were held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 30, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. Curtis Owens officiating. Burial followed at Woodlawn Cemetery. Raymond died Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at his home in Mustang at the age of 70.

The son of Raymond and Ruby (Dayton) Corley was born Jan. 21, 1936, in Claremore. He attended school at Claremore and Sageeyah. On July 7, 1977, Raymond married Mary Maes. They made their home in Mustang. He worked for Roadway Express and Western Gillette as a truck driver, and was member of Teamster Local Union #886. Raymond was a member of the Assembly of God and Yukon Masonic Lodge.

He loved music and played the bass guitar, often sharing his talent at the Newcastle Senior Center.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents; son, David Wayne Corley; and granddaughter, Kristin Workman.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; daughter, Debi Workman and husband, Robert of Langley; step-children: Jimmy Adams and wife, Glenda of Prague, Vera Maes and husband, Fermin of New Mexico, and Selane Montano of Okla. City; brother, Line Corley and wife, Loretta of Ryan; sister, Betty Collins and husband, Bill of Claremore; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
