William “Billy” McKinney Obit

William "Billy" McKinney of Newcastle, OK passed away on Tuesday, March 5th, 2019 at the age of 40.

Billy was born on December 16, 1978 in Norman, Oklahoma to Ricky Davis and Teresa Wilborn. Billy attended schools in Norman, South OKC, Newcastle and Mustang. He attended Newcastle High School and later graduated from Mustang High School in 1997. After graduating, Billy pursued a career in construction. In 2004, Billy went into business for himself. He owned and operated McKinney Construction with his wife for over 15 years. He specialized in framing but was skilled in many aspects. Billy strived for perfection and took great pride in everything he built. Aside from his work, Billy enjoyed any and everything to do with racing. He raced Micro Sprint Cars at I-44 Speedway and other raceways around the Midwest with his family always by his side. Most of all, Billy loved spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband and he and his wife, Erin spent 18 years of marriage together. Billy was a caring father. His sons Rylan and Hayden brought so much joy to him and his daughter, Cianna was the light of his life. Billy was a wonderful husband, father, son and loyal friend to many. He accomplished a great deal in his time here on this earth. Although he is no longer with us, his memory will live on through his family and friends.

Billy was preceded in death by hisPaternal Grandparents: Shirley Presley and Walter Davis; Maternal Grandfather: Mickey Wilborn.

Billy is survived by his:
Wife, Erin McKinney;
Son, Rylan Bristol;
Son, Hayden McKinney;
Daughter, Cianna McKinney;
Father, Ricky Davis;
Mother, Teresa Wilborn;
Grandmother, Sue Wilborn;
Sister, Sharee Davis;
Sister, Lindsey Stroh;
Many friends.
