Jerry Gamble, age 70, of Chickasha, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 14, 2020, at the Norman Regional Hospital. He was raised in Lufkin, TX, and attended school there. Jerry then attended college for a couple of years, before taking a job in the oil fields. Jerry took a job with Halliburton and worked his way up through the company. He retired after more than 25 years of dedicated service. Jerry then hauled oil for several years before retiring.

He married Mary Burkhalter and together they raised two children, son Terry and daughter Carrie. When he wasn't working, Jerry enjoyed playing golf and in his later years, water aerobics. He was a strong man; generous with his time and always looking to help someone. He will be dearly missed!
