Vera Elizabeth, Beth, Pritchett, age 90 of Purcell passed away Sunday, Sept 1, 2013 at Sunset Estates in Purcell. She was born May 15, 1923 in Elmer, Oklahoma to Thomas David Thompson and Vera Hesper Christmas Thompson. The family moved to the Stealy area where she attended Stealy and Wayne Schools. She later met the love of her life Chuck Pritchett. They were married December 24, 1940 in Pauls Valley. To this union 3 children were born. Over the years Beth and Chuck owned numerous businesses in Purcell. The last business they owned and operated was Pritchett’s Café. Beth’s great pleasure in life was being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and extended family. She had a servant’s heart and truly took care of them all. She was a member of the Purcell Pentecostal Holiness Church for the past 73 years. She loved the Lord and her church was an important part of her life. She taught Sunday School and lead singing for a while. In their later years, Beth and Chuck enjoyed traveling in their fifth wheel and they traveled all of the US. Beth will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by: Husband: Chuck Pritchett Daughter: Barbara Ann Pritchett Son: Billy Joe Pritchett Brothers and Sisters: Savada Harper, Alma Ferguson, Charlotte Wyatt, Opal May, Jo Ann Thompson, Tom Thompson She is survived by: Daughter: Betty Sue Pritchett Vickery of Norman Daughter-in-law: Maria Pritchett 5 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren Also a special niece Gloria and her husband, Paul Hardcastle & Nephew: B.J. Larson They all 3 took the time every day to care in a special way for Beth

Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery.
