Ann Cowan age 75, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Purcell, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. Ann was born August 1, 1945, in Purcell, Oklahoma. She was the oldest of six children born to Roy Lee Keith and Almedia Glendeen (Oswalt) Keith. Ann grew up in Purcell, graduating with the class of 1963. On April 4, 1964, she married Jackie Blackwell of Purcell and together they raised two daughters, Sherry and Michelle. In 1975, she married James Cowan and they were married for 24 years before he passed away in 1999. Ann lived in the Oklahoma City area for the past 47 years and worked for over 40 years for American Fidelity Assurance Co.

Throughout her life, Ann enjoyed traveling, organizing family get togethers, playing Rook with her brothers and uncles. When she was younger, she liked to golf and take her grandchildren golfing. She has always been an Elvis fan and a Dallas Cowboy fan. Most of all, Ann loved spending time with her family, and socializing with her friends.

She was preceded in death by: Father, Roy Lee Keith and Mother, Glendeen Oswalt Keith.

She is survived by:
Two daughters, Sherry Kraus and husband Stephen of Purcell and Michelle Lynch and husband Tony of Purcell;One sister, Pat Cantrell of Checotah, OK; Four brothers, Ronnie Keith and wife Michelle of Washington, OK, Jimmy Keith and wife Cheryl of Purcell, Jerry Keith and wife Dixie of Purcell and Gary Keith and wife Connie of Washington, OK; Four grandchildren, April Jones of Moore, Kristen Simmons of Norman, Lucy Lynch of Noble and Dalton Kraus of Moore; Eight great grandchildren; Two Aunts, Ferrell Oswalt of Purcell and Nadine Keith of Washington, OK; several cousins and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Little’s Chapel, Wilson-Little. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. The service will be livestreamed on our website, www.wilsonlittle.com, and our Facebook page, Wilson Little.
