Vinnie Cook Bebout, age 78 of Purcell, passed away Saturday August 3, 2013. Vinnie Louella Willeby was born February 12, 1935 in Boggy Depot, OK, 1 of 14 children, her parents were William Louis Willeby, Exzilley Inez Overstreet Bernie Willeby. Vinnie grew up in Eastern Oklahoma near Caney. She married Robert Bebout in 1949 and together they raised 4 daughters; Sherry, Sharion, Karen and Kimberly. They lived in various communities before moving to the Purcell and Wayne area in 1974. While her children were growing up, Vinnie was a stay at home mom. After moving to McClain Co. she later found work as a cook, first at Ruby’s Restaurant and then at both the Purcell Senior Citizens and Wayne Senior Citizens centers. She worked for nearly 20 years as a cook before retiring. In 1984, Vinnie married Clarence Cook. They were married for 18 years before he passed away. Vinnie was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed making her daughters clothes. In her later years, she enjoyed quilting and taking walks. Vinnie cherished her family and looked forward to time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Sunray Baptist Church in Purcell.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, William and Bernie Willeby and Exzilley Willeby; Her husband, Clarence Cook; Her daughter, Sherry Darlene Potts; Three brothers and one sister

Vinnie leaves behind: Her daughters, Sharion Carter and husband Richard of Stratford; Karen Hobbs and husband John of Purcell and, Kimberly Moss and husband Alan of Stratford; 10 brothers and sisters; 20 grandchildren 40 great grandchildren and A host of other family and friends.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell.
