Rex Stanley Ardery died November 15, 2019 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years 8 months 13 days.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.


Rex was born March 2, 1957 in Garden City, Kansas to Raymond Paul and Loretta "Lorrie" Aquella (Bedker) Ardery. He was raised in Garden City, graduating from High School in 1975. Rex worked many years as a truck driver. On September 14, 2002 he married Liezl Asuque in Norman, Oklahoma. They made their home in Purcell. Rex was an amazing mechanic, and enjoyed the open road, especially with his wife, Liezl. Rex loved spending time with his family, watching old westerns, tennis, netflix and listening to audio books. He enjoyed coffee, a good Filet mignon, and the Cheesecake Factory.
 

Rex is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lorrie Ardery.

Survivors include his wife, Liezl of Purcell; daughter, Samantha Ardery of Purcell; son, Rowan Ardery of Purcell; daughter, Amanda Morhlang and husband, Jeff of Aurora, CO; son, Royce Ardery of Manhattan, KS; siblings, Randy Ardery of Greensburg, KS, Terrill Ardery of Ada, Robb Ardery of Byars, Tasha Sperry of Wesley Chapel, FL, TJ Schaffer of Canyon, TX; and numerous other relatives and friends.
