Henry C. “Ace” Folsom, Jr., 76, of Blanchard, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. The son of Henry C. Folsom, Sr. and Edna Mae (Howell) Folsom, he was born September 7, 1936 on the family farm near Blanchard.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked for many years as a truck driver. Ace married Sarah Sue Cox on June 12, 1959 in Oklahoma City. He was a member of Crossroads Church in Oklahoma City. Ace was a very good mechanic and enjoyed building and driving dune buggies and watching car races. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family.

Ace was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Ann (Folsom) Covington.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Folsom, of Blanchard; one son, Jeff Folsom of Texas; one daughter, Lori Pipkin and her husband, Rick, of Oklahoma City; two granddaughters, Kelsie Buchanan and her husband, David, of California and Whitney Smith of Texas; two grandsons, Nick Pipkin and his wife, Kelsey and their daughter, Adyson and Neil Pipkin and his wife, Abby, all of Kansas; his nephews, David Covington and his wife, Doris, of Edmond and Mark Covington of Blanchard; a niece, Erin Reyes of Blanchard; and many other loved ones and friends.

Graveside service for Ace will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Folsom Family Cemetery near Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
