Estelle Mae Wright age, 86 of Oklahoma City died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Grace Living Center in Okla. City. She was born May 1, 1927 in Dibble, Oklahoma the 2nd child of 13 children born to Calvin Edgar Howeth & Eva Mae Bacon Howeth. She grew up on a farm SE of Dibble where she learned to work hard as a farm girl picking & hoeing cotton. At age 15 she married Raymond Wright & together they raised 2 children. In 1959, she moved to Oklahoma City where she worked as a waitress & cashier. Over the years she worked at several restaurants in Okla. City including the Old Sheridan Hotel, Beverly’s, International House of Pancakes, Val Genes & Robert’s Café. Estelle also worked for Sunbeam Family Health Services in home health care for several years. She was a longtime member of the Olivett Baptist Church in Okla. City where she taught Sunday school & GA’s for many years. She enjoyed reading her bible & attending bible studies, crocheting, doing embroidery work and learning about health foods. In her later years, Estelle looked forward to eating at the Golden Coral and socializing with her Golden Coral family.

She was preceded in death by: Parents: Calvin and Eva Howeth; Her husband, Raymond Wright; 1 Sister: Joyce Turner, 3 Brothers: Connal, Gather and Calvin Howeth, 2 Infants: A Brother & A Sister,

She is survived by: 1 Daughter: Vickie Weaver & husband Marty of Mustang, 1 Son: Donnie Wright & wife Sonja of Tuttle, 2 Sisters: JoAnn Simmons & husband A.B. of Wylie, TX, Barbara Elam of Lindsay, 4 Brothers: Joey Howeth & wife Peggy of Purcell, Bronell Marvin Howeth & wife Darlene of Texas, Lloyd Howeth & Georgia of Texas, Junior Howeth & wife Linda of Comanche, OK, 2 Grandchildren, Raymond Wright and Brian Weaver; 4 Great Grandchildren, Brooklyn, Caiden, Hunter and Rayleigh Wright; Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Burial will be at the Dibble Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice @ 4350 Will Rogers Parkway, Ste #400, Oklahoma City, OK, 73108.
