He was on the Dibble School Board for many years, as a member and then president of the board. He also served on board for the McClain County Farm Bureau for several years. Olen enjoyed life and was known for his sense of humor and respected for his hard work and devotion to family and friends.

Olen is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maxine, and two brothers, Donald Keeler and Douglas Keeler.

Olen is survived by brother, Kenneth Keeler and his wife, Vickie; and four children: Gerry of Dibble, Eddie and wife Mary Ann of Dibble, Joyce and husband Monte Sills of Colorado, Phyllis and husband Mike Schmit of Norman. He is survived by four grand-children: Amy Keeler, Keri and husband Todd Sparks, Derek Parks and Garrett Sills. Olen dearly loved and will be missed by all, especially by his five great-grandchildren: Taylor, Casey, Kassidy, Ty and Harleigh.
