Edna Imogene Rogers, 87, of Blanchard, died March 7, 2012 at Tuttle Care Center in Tuttle. The daughter of Laura (Duff) and James Bayless Elliott, she was born November 19, 1924 in Friendsville, Tennessee.

She was Pentecostal in faith. Edna was a great cook and was famous for her chocolate gravy. She loved her family and received great joy from her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Rogers; daughter, Cathy Rogers; five brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include her sons, James Rogers and wife, Susan, and Douglas Rogers and wife, Connie, all of Blanchard; grandchildren, Kristi Ross and husband, Toby of Moore and their children, Emily, Joey, and Landon; Catherine Gabriel and husband, Xavier of Oklahoma City and their children, Cameron, Octayvia, and Izabella; Laura F. Rogers of Blanchard; and Jessica Bates of Blanchard; and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Freewill Baptist Church in Dibble. Reverend Terry Bates will officiate with interment held in the Dibble Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
