Our beloved mother and grandmother, Shirley Darlene (Wright) Rawson passed away peacefully on January 9, 2021, in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.

Shirley was born on June 18, 1940, in Alex, Oklahoma. She married Wayne Rawson on June 21, 1958, and they raised their children and lived in Newcastle, Oklahoma for over 25 years. She loved being a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was an artist, seamstress, painter and avid reader. Shirley will be remembered by her family for her wonderful sense of humor that always came with a slice of her famous pie and a glass of sweet tea.

Shirley is survived by her two children, Kenneth Brian Rawson of Blanchard, Oklahoma and Kimberly Dawn (Rawson) Street of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; one sister, Barbara Williams of Purcell, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and many other loved ones and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Beulah Mae Wright; one sister, Anna Jo Threadgill; and two brothers, Richard Dale Wright and Jerry Wayne Wright.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at the Dibble Cemetery in Dibble, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook area available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
