Alva Elene McDonald, 80, of Blanchard, died Sunday, May 11, 2014 in Norman. The daughter of Alvin “Sonny” and Elsie (Franklin) Mills, she was born September 16, 1933 in Dibble, Oklahoma. She went to school in Dibble, where she played basketball, and graduated from Dibble High School. She married Barth Aulton “Jack” McDonald on October 26, 1951 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2013, after 62 years of marriage. Elene was a homemaker and was Baptist in faith. Throughout the years, Elene was faithful about donating to various mission organizations around the world. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, canning, and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother-in-law, Bob Dodson.

Elene is survived by her five sons, Allen McDonald, Steven McDonald and wife, Marilyn, Tony McDonald, and Avery McDonald, all of Blanchard, and Eric McDonald and wife, Clariza, of the United Arab Emirates; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one brother, Ronnie Mills and his wife, Linda, of Dibble; two sisters, Mona Dodson of Washington, and Marjorie Williams and her husband, Bobby, of Criner; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Dibble Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Dibble Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.

Barth Aulton “Jack” McDonald, 83, of Blanchard, died Friday, November 22, 2013 in Norman. The son of Mable Catherine (Kisamore) and Donald Dwight McDonald, he was born June 20, 1930 in Macksville, West Virginia. He married Alva Elene Mills on October 26, 1951 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Jack served in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service. Later, he spent many years farming and drilling water wells. He was an excellent mechanic and could fix almost anything. Jack was Baptist in faith and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Forrest “Sonny” McDonald.

Jack is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elene McDonald of Blanchard; five sons, Allen McDonald, Steven McDonald and wife, Marilyn, Tony McDonald, and Avery McDonald, all of Blanchard, and Eric McDonald and wife, Clariza, of the United Arab Emirates; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one brother, Donald McDonald and wife, Barbara, of Virginia; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Dibble Cemetery.
