Vicky McConnell Jones was born to Harley G. and Lorena (Polk) McConnell on October 17, 1951 in Blanchard, Oklahoma. Vicky grew up in Middleberg and attended school there and Blanchard High School. Vicky worked in the banking industry in Oklahoma for over 20 years. Vicky then moved to Durango, Colorado to begin a new adventure.

Vicky passed away on August 12, 2010 in Durango, Colorado after a brave year long battle with cancer. She was 58 years young.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kindra and Mark Martin of Blanchard; son, Kevin Jones of Aspen, Colorado; granddaughter, Haley Broyles of Blanchard; brother, Harley W. McConnell of Colorado, and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents and a brother, Gary L. McConnell.

Gravesite services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Dibble Cemetery. Rev. Garry Garrett will officiate.

A celebration of Vicky's life will be held at Eduardos Restaurant in Chickasha after the services. Arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
