Martha Elisabeth Stone was born in Walnut Springs Mississippi to George Dennis Jones and Georgia Garrett Jones on January 25. 1892. She married William Alexander Stone on May 16, 1909 in Detroit Texas and he preceded her in death in 1955. They moved from Detroit Texas to Johnsonville Oklahoma in 1910 and then back to Texas in 1911. They moved to Byars Oklahoma in 1919. To this union was born 8 children. After William A. passed away she moved to Oklahoma City and purchased a house next door to her youngest daughter. She lived there until she passed away on January 24, 1980, just one day before her 88th birthday. Rewritten by: JoJo
