Willie “Joe” Kleeman, age 75 of Lexington, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, at the Broadway Living Center in Lexington.

He was born December 6, 1941, 1 of 8 children of Arthur Otto Kleeman and Nellie Essie (Wright) Kleeman. He was born and raised near Banner on the Kleeman Family Farm. He attended school in Purcell, graduating with the Class of 1961. Joe was drafted into the United States Army and proudly served his country. While in the service, Joe was stationed in Germany, before being honorably discharged. He returned home to Oklahoma and began working for the Coca Cola Bottling Co., but life was increasingly difficult for him after his service. For the last 14 years, Joe has been a resident of the Broadway Living Center in Lexington, where his nieces, Millie and Karen could care for him. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: His parents, Arthur and Essie Kleeman and His siblings, Lucille Waggoner, Leo Kleeman, Charley Kleeman, Lillie Bennett and Lou Smith.

Joe leaves behind: His sisters, Hazel Huggins of Phoenix, AZ and Oleta Butler of Norman; Several Nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and his Broadway Living Center of Lexington.

Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 31, 2017, at the Byars Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell.
