Ruby Darbra Belvin went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2011. She was born on October 9, 1920 in Byars, Oklahoma to Ethel and George Gasaway. She passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.

Ruby worked at Wacker Warehouse for 13 years. She then worked at Pauls Valley State School from 1981 until she retired in 1996.

Ruby was a member of First Assembly of God Church for many years. She was strong in her faith and loved her family and the Lord more than anything.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her first child, Leroy Belvin, two grandchildren, Tyler Ward and Jacob Belvin. Two brothers, Jess Gasaway and Harry Gasaway, and one sister, Voncille Qualls.

She leaves behind her children, Ted Belvin of Fayetteville, Ark, Rhonda Schultz and her husband Roger of Norman, Ok, Mike Belvin of Grove, OK and Tammy Ward and her husband Jay of Pauls Valley, Ok. Her grandchildren, Kristin Smith, Jon Belvin, Ryan Schultz, Randall Schultz, Tara Ford, Spencer Ward and eleven great grandchildren. Three sisters, Donna Lee Davis, Lucille Freeman, Mildred Schwartz and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance. Interment will be at Byars Cemetery. Interment and professional services are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
