Virgil Neal Bayless of Byars, Oklahoma was born June 14, 1944 in Colcord, Oklahoma to Harold R. Bayless and Margaret (Dill) Bayless. He passed away in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years 2 months and 19 days. He grew up in Northeast Oklahoma and served our country in the United States Army he fought in the Vietnam war. After he came back to the states he moved to California in 1976, where he met and married Debra Jo Berry in Bakersfield, California. He worked as an Oilfield Superintendent. In the year 2000 he moved to Byars, Oklahoma where he spent the rest of his life. He enjoyed farming raising cattle, loved his dogs and expensive toys. Most of all he loved kids and loved playing jokes on them.

Preceded by; his parents Harold and Margaret Bayless; two daughters; Penny Holman of Bakersfield, California and Shaleen Pagsuberon of Atascadero, California, 6 brothers and sisters.

Survived by; his wife Debra Jo Bayless of the home, Step-daughter Kimberly Caberto also of the home in Byars, Oklahoma. one son- Raymond Cleveland & wife Mary of Anderson, MO

Virgil was the middle child of a large family he has three sisters and 4 brothers. numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services; 11:00 AM Tuesday September 8, 2020 in DeArman/Pickard Chapel Stratford, Oklahoma. Officiating; Rev. Frank Trent. Burial will be in Byars cemetery Byars, Oklahoma.
