Ronald Lee Wright, 63, of Norman, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, January 1, 2003, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 6, 2003 at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Norman with Chaplain Harry Smith officiating.

Interment will follow at the Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard, Oklahoma with full military honors.  Pallbearers will be Kevin Davis, Ray Richardson, Jerry Wright, Doug Wright II, Doug Wright and Doug Scroggins.  Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.

Mr. Wright was born March 3, 1939 in Cole, Oklahoma, to Jesse Harmon and Ellie Francis Wright.  He grew up in the Cole area of Oklahoma and in Fremont, California. He joined the U.S. Air Force in March, 1956 and served twenty years, retiring as a master sergeant. Mr. Wright then worked for O.G.& E for eighteen years.  He married Alcenia R. Simon on July 8, 1961.  He also worked for the University of Oklahoma Continued Education Program. Mr. Wright moved to Norman in June, 1984 from Oklahoma City, OK. He loved to fish and garden.

Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. 

Survivors include his wife, Alcenia of the home; two sons, Doug Wright and wife, Mary of Stonewall, OK and Jerry Wright of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Suzanne Davis and husband, Kevin of Oklahoma City, OK and Annette Richardson and husband, Ray of Lawton, OK; one brother, Tim Wright and wife, Teresa of Moore, OK; eight grandchildren, Sabrina Scroggins, Samantha Wright, Schandi Kaste, Doug Wright II, Tabatha Wright, Brandon Wright, Scherri Kaste and Peyton Richardson; and three great-grandchildren, Kierstin Scroggins, Kaitlin Scroggins and Blane Scroggins.
