Alcenia 'Simone' Ruth Wright, age 78, passed away November 16, 2019.

She was born September 16, 1941, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to the late Ford and Ruth Simon. Alcenia was a veteran of the U.S Air Force. Her hobbies included reading, bird watching, collecting gems, word search puzzles, gardening and cooking for family and friends. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed. 
 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Wright on January 1, 2003; one brother, Norman Simon; one sister, Alena Simon; and one great grandson, Mason Lane. 
 

Survivors include her two sons, Douglas Wright and wife Lisa, and Jerry Wright; two daughters, Suzanne Davis and Annette Richardson; one sister, Phyllis Howell and husband Ronnie; eight grandchildren, Sabrina Scroggins, Samantha Ostrander, Douglas Wright II, Tabatha Wright, Brandon Wright, Schandi Miller, Scheri Kaste and Peyton Richardson; and nine great grandchildren. 
 

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Blanchard Cemetery.
