Lois Charlene Woodruff, 80, of Ninnekah, died Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at her home. The daughter of Charles Jackson Wilmeth and Lois Pauline “Polly” (Allison) Wilmeth, she was born January 25, 1940 in Chickasha and grew up in Blanchard.

Charlene was Baptist in faith. She traveled the United States with her husband, Oscar, and later in life, got to travel the world. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Loving, kind, and gentle were just some of her characteristics. Her favorite color was turquoise. She enjoyed bowling and watching football and, as a young lady, she played softball and basketball. She also enjoyed being outdoors, going to the lake, camping, and fishing. Charlene was an avid two stepper and loved boot scootin’. She enjoyed listening to bluegrass and country music. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Woodruff; and her brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Sherry Ward.

Charlene is survived by one daughter, Vicki Sylve of Chickasha; one grandson, Chris Sylve of Ninnekah; four great grandchildren, Kylan, Karma,Kynna, and Kyler; and many other loved ones and friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to Robert Lee “Bob” Roth for all the time and love he has given the family over the last eighteen years.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 9, 2020, at the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
