Eula Syvilla Steele, 96, of Blanchard, died Monday, October 26, 2015. The daughter of Earl Rapier LeVally and Ida Arretta (Willoughby) LeVally, she was born February 10, 1919 in Maysville, Oklahoma.
 
After graduating from Maysville High School, Eula attended Nurse Training School in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She worked as Licensed Practical Nurse at the Pauls Valley and Purcell Hospitals. Eula married Loys B. Steele in 1940 and was blessed with four children. She loved cooking, gardening, and ministering to others as a pastor’s wife. Loys and Eula served as pastor and wife in many churches including Bridge Creek, Hawkins, Dibble, Iron Chapel, and Chickasha in Oklahoma and Mansfield, Antioch Community, and Booneville in Arkansas.
 
Eula was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. Steele; her parents, Earl and Ida Levally; a grandson, Heath Morton; two sisters, Eulaula Smith and Jo Stone; and two brothers, Earl LeVally and Steve LeVally.
 
Eula is survived by her children; Phillip Steele and wife, Fern, of Booneville, Arkansas, Syvilla “Penny” Lewis and husband, Ron, of Blanchard, Virginia “Jenny” Morton and husband, Ron, of Blanchard, and Richard Steele and wife, Sharon, of Blanchard; thirteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; and many other loved ones and friends.
 
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
