Bobby Gene Smith, 54, of Blanchard, died October 11, 2012 at his home. The son of Arthur Wayne and Eloise (Mitchell) Smith, he was born May 11, 1958 in Oklahoma City.

Bob was Pentecostal in faith and was employed as a water plant operator for the City of Newcastle. He enjoyed raising rabbits and chickens, fishing, softball, and playing bingo.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Terry Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Marian Smith of Blanchard; son, Kevin Smith and wife Melissa of Blanchard; daughters, Rachel Harris of Mustang and Chelsea Smith of Blanchard; three grandchildren, Jill Harris, Dylan Harris, and Jaelyn Yancey; sister, Janet Hoff and husband Donny of Blanchard; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard with interment to follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
