Martha Francis (Cook) Sheets, 71, of Moore, died Thursday, July 3, 2014 in Oklahoma City. The daughter of Walter Lee and Alice May (Haze) Cook, she was born August 21, 1942 in Houston, Texas. She married James Elva Sheets on December 16, 1961. Martha was a homemaker and was member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Houston, Texas. In her spare time, Martha enjoyed sewing and crochet. She loved horses and especially loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Don Cook; and a sister-in-law, Madeline Hawes.

Martha is survived by her husband, James Sheets of Moore; one son, David Sheets of Round Rock, Texas; two daughters, Deborah Pool of College Station, Texas, and Deanna Barfoot and husband, Kevin, of Dickson, Tennessee; five grandchildren; Amanda Riley and husband, Kenneth, of Dickson, Tennessee, Ryan Barfoot of Dickson, Tennessee, Aaron Pool of Houston, Texas, Kristen Pool of Aurora, Colorado, and Evelyn Pool of College Station, Texas; two great grandchildren, McKenna and Emma Riley of Dickson, Tennessee; one brother Leroy Cook and wife, Donna, of Houston, Texas; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Johnny and Jerri Sheets of Newcastle; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Jesse Scott of Warr Acres; nephews, Kevin Sheets of Newcastle, Todd Sheets of Newcastle, Steve Cook of Houston, Texas, and Michael Cook of Houston, Texas; nieces, Angela Cook of Houston, Texas, Marie Waxler of Conroe, Texas, and Tasha Davis of Oklahoma City; several other nephews and nieces; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
