Helen Bernice Selby, 84, of Blanchard, died Friday, May 22, 2020, in Blanchard.
The daughter of Orie Jefferson Myers and Bertha Ellen (Mahurin) Myers, she was
born February 25, 1936, in Blanchard.
Helen worked for many years as a nurse aide at Senior Village Nursing Home and
was Pentecostal in faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, and reading
mystery and western novels. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with
her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don Selby; her daughter,
Karen McGuire; and her son, Ronnie Selby.
Helen is survived by six grandchildren, Melinda Childress, Michael Coffey, Roy
Coffey, Shawn Selby, Christina Mahal, and Bobby Miles; several great
grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Goza of Texas; one brother, Winifred Dale
Myers and wife, Shirley, of Blanchard; numerous nieces and nephews; and many
other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 28, 2020, at the
Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.
Burial will follow in the Blanchard
Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of
Blanchard.
