Richard Frank “Rick” Saylors, 74, of Newcastle, died, Thursday, November 28, 2013 in Harrah, Oklahoma. The son of Arthur and Addie (Bull) Saylors, he was born January 16, 1939 in Blanchard, Oklahoma.

After serving in the United States Air Force, he worked for many years as an electronics technician. Rick attended the Tuttle Assembly of God Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved horses and owned and showed team penning and cutting horses. Rick loved being outdoors spending time gardening and doing yard work. He always kept a vegetable garden and had the most beautiful rose garden.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carlene Saylors, his three brothers, and his three sisters.

He is survived by his daughters, Konda Rollin and husband, Rick, of Choctaw and Kendra Saylors of Norman; his four grandchildren, Bryce Ocker and wife, Laci, of Arkansas, Micah Oliphant and husband, Ryan, of Norman, Alex Rollin of Choctaw, and Addison Rollin of Choctaw; his four great grandchildren, Hayden Ocker, Payton Ocker, Trenton Oliphant, and Hunter Oliphant; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
