anie Lee Robinson, 75, formerly of Blanchard, died Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in Yukon. The daughter of Marvin Lee Stokes and Delorace (Cranford) Stokes, Janie was born on July 27, 1948, in Heavener, Oklahoma.

Janie was Baptist in faith and was a member of The Place Church in Blanchard. She worked for many years as the facilities manager for Putnam City Schools until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to garage sales and thrift stores. She loved animals and was an active supporter of the ASPCA. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and her dog, Sophie.

Janie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Robinson; a son, Michael Benson, Jr.; a sister, Ruby Young; and a brother, Wayne Stokes.

Janie is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Green and husband, Larry, of Yukon; grandchildren, Paige Roberts of Oklahoma City, Chelsea Wadsworth and husband, Steven, of Yukon, and Devon Roberts of Oklahoma City; one great grandson, Daxx Cope; one sister, Lavonne Stokes of El Dorado; two brothers, Anthony Stokes and wife, Joy, of Bethany, and Don Stokes and Donna Willis of El Dorado; a niece, Lori Wilson and husband, Charles, of Mustang; numerous other nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.

Viewing for family and friends will be from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 26, 2024, at The Place Church, 302 North Madison Avenue, Blanchard, OK 73010. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
