Margie Anne Richey, 88, passed away April 29, 2015 in the PIH Hospital in Whittier, California. She was the daughter of Reatus Watson and Saletha (Wilson) Watson.

Margie graduated from Blanchard, Oklahoma High School in May, 1944 and started dating her High School sweetheart Raymond Richey, he was in the Army Air Force. They got married on December 8, 1944 and recently celebrated their 70th anniversary.

While Raymond was in the South Pacific, she came west to visit her aunt in Compton and decided to stay in California, working at the State Employment Office. After raising their family, she got her Real Estate License and later her Broker License leading to their two Red Carpet Richey Real Estate Offices in Downey, California.

Margie was baptized into Christ at age 13 in Blanchard, Oklahoma. She remained a faithful member of the Imperial Hwy Church of Christ for 62 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David, and two sisters, Dorthy McGaha, and Betty Isbell.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Richey; son, Brian Richey; brother, Don Watson; and many other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
