Carolyn Faye (Crabtree) Rennie, 66, of Blanchard, died Friday, March 13, 2015, in Norman, Oklahoma. The daughter of James Charley Crabtree and Martha Faye (Simmons) Crabtree, she was born January 25, 1949, in Placerville, California. Carolyn grew up in Blanchard and was a 1967 graduate of Blanchard High School. Carolyn was a Baptist in faith and was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She worked for the FAA for many years until her retirement. She married John Daniel Rennie on February 2, 1992 in Clark County, Nevada. After they were married, she and Dan moved to Sitka, Alaska for Dan’s work and retired back to Blanchard in 2006. While living in Alaska, Carolyn enjoyed beachcombing and taking in all the sights and sounds of Alaska. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and couldn’t pass up a good bargain. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Dan Rennie, of Blanchard; two sisters, Jan Grady and husband, Billy, of Blanchard, and Patti Autry and husband, Carl, of Blanchard; nieces and nephews, Regina Brogan and husband, Sean,Rebecca Autry, Jade Tyler, Remington Tyler, and Jaxon Tyler, all of Blanchard; great nieces, Jaycee Parker and Layla Brogan, of Blanchard; great nephews, Jhett Autry and Cordell Brogan, of Blanchard; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 19, 2015, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
