Nolan Donavee “Don” Raper, 82, of Blanchard, died January 31, 2013 at his home. The son of Odie Conway and Naomi Frances (Lee) Raper, he was born September 3, 1930 in Foss, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Mustang High School and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Don married Patsy Carol Stevens on January 26, 1951 in Oklahoma City. He was owner of Don Raper Trucking and enjoyed training and racing horses.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Cupia Jean Barth and JoAnn Henthorn.

Don is survived by his wife, Patsy, of Blanchard; sons, David Raper and wife Treva of Moore and Danny Raper and wife Anna of Granite City, Illinois; daughters, Diane Bailey of Chickasha and Donna Porter of Blanchard; six grandchildren, Justin Gabehart, Wiley Gabehart, Derek Porter, Dalton Porter, Dee Raper and Joe Raper; six great grandchildren; brother, Travis Raper and wife Charlotte of Newcastle; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service for Don will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard with interment following in the Blanchard Cemetery.
