Patricia Ann “Pat” Pitmon, 79, of Blanchard, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015, in Norman, Oklahoma. The daughter of Russell James Olds and Lela Listina (Meek) Olds, she was born December 9, 1935 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Pat married Gene Pitmon on May 25, 1957 in Seminole. She worked many years as an elementary school teacher. Pat was a member of the Newcastle Christian Church and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge, crocheting, working jigsaw puzzles, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pat is survived by her husband, Gene Pitmon of Blanchard; one daughter, Tina Ediger and her husband, Marc, of Oklahoma City; three sons, Jimmy Pitmon and his wife, Sharon, of Georgia, Pepper Pitmon and his wife, Janet, of Bethany, and Wesley Pitmon and his wife, Stacey, of Blanchard; seven grandchildren, Rusty Pitmon and his wife, Ashley, of Florida, Sarah Pitmon of Blanchard, Kody Pitmon of Georgia, Tyler Ediger and his wife, Paige, of Yukon, Jarod Pitmon of Bethany, Kendall Pitmon of Blanchard and RaShelle Pitmon of Blanchard; one great grandson, Zack Begley; one brother, Bill Olds and his wife, Emily, of Florida; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 29, 2015, at the Newcastle Christian Church.

Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
