Linda Kay Ledford, 74, of Blanchard, died peacefully, Saturday, June 10, 2017, at her home, with her husband and children at her side. The daughter of Tom Tucker Hughes and Gladys Irene (Bullock) Hughes, she was born September 28, 1942, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Linda married the love of her life, Curtis Edward Ledford, on April 7, 1961, in Bristow, Oklahoma. She worked as an Item Manager for Tinker Air Force Base and retired after 31 years of service. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blanchard. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing bridge. She was a very talented seamstress and enjoyed making clothes for her daughters and making doll clothes. Linda was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing holiday meals for her family and cooking pot roast almost every Sunday. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Shirley Lee.

Linda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Curtis Ledford of Blanchard; two daughters, Pamela Walker and husband, Tom, of Tennessee, and Sheila Deason and husband, Edward Pianalto, of Blanchard; one son, Jeffrey Ledford and wife, Sheila, of Colorado; eight grandchildren, Reannon Wright and husband, Jay, of Georgia, Jason Deason and wife, Jessica, of Bridge Creek, Elizabeth Ledford of Texas, Justin Pianalto and wife, Heather, of Kansas, Jessica Sawatsky and husband, Jake, of Woodward, Bradley Deason and fiancée, Amanda Walker, of Moore, Zachary Walker of Louisiana, and Emma Ledford of Texas; eight great grandchildren, Lilyan Deason, Savanna Deason, RaeLyn Deason, Braden Walker, Aedan Wright, McKinley Sawatsky, Ryker Sawatsky, and Hannah Pianalto; two sisters, Claudine Farrabee and husband, Ron, of California, and Janie Holland of Louisiana; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blanchard.

Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
