Henry Harrison “Hank” Lancaster, 82, of Blanchard, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016, at his home. The son of William Alexander Lancaster and Hazel Marie (Hill) Lancaster, he was born July 9, 1934 in Alex, Oklahoma.

He married Anna Laura Buchanan on October 2, 1953 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He worked as a diesel mechanic most of his life and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, working in his yard, and sitting out on his front porch doing word search puzzles. His greatest love was being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren who always made him laugh and smile.

He was preceded in death by his father, William A. “Bill”; his mother, Hazel; one son, Stephen Lancaster; one sister, Laverne Reed; and two brothers, Doug and Lee Lancaster.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, Anna Lancaster of Blanchard; daughter, Lisa Myers and her husband, Jacky, of Blanchard; two sons, Henry Lancaster, Jr. of Florida and William Lancaster and his wife, Jayne, of Blanchard; seven grandchildren, Chad Lancaster and his wife, Suzanne, of Florida, Christy King and her husband, Shawn, of Blanchard; Steven Barber of New Hampshire, Shelby Lancaster, Darci Lancaster, Deedra Lancaster, and Sheena Myers, all of Blanchard; twelve great grandchildren, Courtney, Chase, Chris, Brandon, Blake, Christopher, Kishi, John Henry, Kaleb, Summer, Betty, and Jasmine; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 8, 2016, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
